Call for new IReSH Co-Chairs!

We are inviting expressions of interest for the role of IReSH Co-Chair. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the leadership of our network and help shape its future direction.

Process and Timeline

  • Initial expressions of interest (EOI) are open until 16th May. During this period, interested individuals are encouraged to reach out to the current IReSH co-chairs (emails below) for more information.

  • If multiple expressions of interest are received, a vote will be conducted via the IReSH email list, with voting open from 2nd- 20th June.

  • The new IReSH co-chair will be announced by the end of June, with a handover period before formally assuming the role on 1st September.

Co-Chair Composition and Future Transitions

We anticipate a Co-Chair structure that includes:

  • One academic representative

  • One third-sector representative

  • One clinical representative

Ruth Lewis will be stepping down from her co-chair role in September 2025, and we anticipate that Nicola Boydell will step down in 2026. This staggered transition provides an opportunity for new Co-Chairs to integrate smoothly into their roles. Depending on the number of EOIs received, we may also explore a phased handover approach.

If you are interested or would like to discuss this opportunity further, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the current Co-Chairs.

We look forward to your engagement and participation in this process.

Best wishes,

Faye, Nicola and Ruth
